CEO, Pyrolyx USA
Tom Redd is the CEO of Pyrolyx USA, the North American subsidiary of Munich Germany based Pyrolyx AG.
Pyrolyx is the world leader in the extraction of rCB (recovered carbon black) from end-of-life tires. rCB is used to manufacture new tires as well as raw material in the plastic masterbatch and technical rubber industries. Pyrolyx has a commercially operating plan in Germany and is currently starting up it’s new 13,000 metric tons per year of rCB facility in Terre Haute, Indiana.
As U.S. CEO, Mr Redd is responsible for the roll-out of Pyrolyx's world-leading technology in North America. For six years prior to joining Pyrolyx, Mr Redd was CEO of Pyrolyx's North American joint venture partner, Reklaim, Inc. an rCB manufacturer with a commercial facility in Oregon.
Mr Redd is a licensed, Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Washington, holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, a Masters of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Utah State University, and a Bachelors of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia.
